What
Is MY
Birth Card?
Basically, the playing card system helps you to understand yourself better
through the combined symbolism of playing cards, astrology and numerology.
As crazy as it may sound (as it did to me at first), using this system, playing cards
contain symbolism that partially explains your personality!
I am a very skeptical person by nature so don't take my word for it.
Compare the descriptions against reality -- yourself and the people you
know. For a
greater understanding of yourself please check out all of the other systems I use.
No one system has all the answers!
In
Table 1 below you will find your BIRTH
CARD (BC), which is similar to your zodiacal Sun
sign in astrology. It is the most important symbol of your uniqueness in this
system.
Click
on any playing card in Table 1 below to read a general description of that
card. After clicking on a playing card in the grid, you can then read a description for
any day of birth associated with that card. The actual birthday descriptions are
more specific because they take into account the influences of astrology and
numerology but keep
in mind that these are still general descriptions for anyone born on that
day. Enneagram type, Myers-Briggs type, time of birth, place of birth and
full name at birth will greatly effect these simplistic descriptions.
TABLE 1 - HOW TO FIND YOUR
BIRTH CARD (BC)
How
To Determine Your Displaced Card And Understand How The System Works
The
second most important card in this system is called the DISPLACED CARD and has almost as much of a
bearing on your personality as your BIRTH CARD. I will explain how
to determine it in a moment. You also have a Moon (¡)
card, Mercury (£)
card, Venus (¤)
card, Mars (¥)
card, Jupiter (¦)
card, Saturn (§)
card, Uranus (¨)
card, Neptune (©)
card and Pluto (ª)
card associated with your day of birth, all of which influence your personality.
To better understand what each of these planets symbolize, see Table
4 - What Do The Planets Symbolize?
The following learning aid
(Figure 1) will help you to understand this system a little more easily.
I'll use the Ace of Hearts (A♥)
Birth Card to demonstrate how to use this learning aid and then you can use it
to understand your own Birth Card better. In Figure
1, the Ace of Hearts is in the 2nd
column from the left and in the 5th row down. Notice that the A♦
is right below the A♥
in the same small rectangular box, like
this:
For
any Birth Card (in this case the A♥), the card directly underneath the Birth Card
is the DISPLACED CARD (in this case the A♦)
which represents another facet of
ourselves on an inner, spiritual level.
Figure
1 - The Playing Card System Learning Aid
The rows are called LINES.
The first/top row (K♠,
8♦,
10♣)
is called the Crown Line (notice the crown on either side of the row). The
2nd row down is called the Mercury (£)
Line, the 3rd row is the Venus (¤)
Line, the 4th row is the Mars (¥)
Line, the 5th row is the Jupiter (¦)
Line, the 6th row is the Saturn (§)
Line, the 7th row is the Uranus (¨)
Line, and the 8th row is the Neptune (©)
Line. The columns are called POSITIONS.
The first column (from the left) is the Neptune (©)
Position, the second is the Uranus (¨)
Position, and so on.
So the Ace of Hearts (A♥)
is in the Uranus (¨)
Position and the Jupiter (¦)
Line. A♥
people are greatly influenced by these
two planets so the meaning of these two planets will be especially noticeable in
the person's personality (see Table
4 - What Do The
Planets Symbolize?).
Cards are read from
right to left and from top to bottom in this system. Each
playing card is associated with a planet in a particular order. The order
of cards is: Moon card, Birth (Sun) card, Mercury card, Venus card, Mars
card, Jupiter card, Saturn card, Uranus card, Neptune card and finally the Pluto
card. You'll notice that the Moon card is the card directly before
the Birth card, reading from right to left and top to bottom. The Moon
card for the A♥ is the 8♠.
The card after it is the A♦.
Then the Q♦
is next. Because the A♦
is the card furthest to the left, the
next card has to be the furthest card to the right on the next row down because
we are reading from right to left and from top to bottom. The total
sequence for our example A♥
then is: 8♠,
A♥, A♦,
Q♦, 5♥,
3♣, 3♠, 9♥,
7♣, 5♦
as you
will see below. When you get to the Queen of Hearts (Q♥)
in the bottom left-hand corner, go back up to the top and start with the Ten of
Clubs (10♣).
With the learning aid I have provided in Figure 1 you can see how I determined
which playing cards are associated with which planetary card for each Birth
Card. With the Tables I have provided in the following sections, you
should be able to understand how I created the descriptions for each playing
card. Again, don't believe me, compare the descriptions against
reality. That is what I did.

© Hearts
- Hearts signify emotion. These people are concerned with understanding life through
relationships and can be the most affectionate lovers and friends. At
best, Hearts are sensitive, compassionate and understanding people with
creative imaginations. At worst, they are vulnerable to the emotional
temperament, which can lead to self-indulgence, promiscuity and can turn
love into hate. Love, compassion, understanding, passion, family, warmth, creativity, emotions and youth
are key heart words.

activities. They are concerned with understanding life through
learning, gaining knowledge and educating themselves. At best, Clubs
wish to share their insights and knowledge with others. At worst, they
can abuse their mental powers by manipulating facts, negative arguing and
distorting knowledge. Mental pursuits, learning, knowledge, logic, ideas, mental intuition and education are key club words.

meaning in their personal challenges. Tireless workers, labor, health, transformation, wisdom and intuition are key spade words.

How
to Determine Anyone's Playing Card
Everyone is represented by one of the playing cards in the deck.
That card is determined from a person's month and day of birth. The formula for
determining your playing card is as follows. I'll use my birth date,
June 28th, as an example.
(1) You first double the
month. Make sure you use the correct number for each month:
1 January |
5 May |
9 September |
2 February |
6 June |
10 October |
3 March |
7 July |
11 November |
4 April |
8 August |
12 December |
In our example, June is the 6th month so doubling 6 gives 12 (6 + 6 = 12).
(2) Then you add the
birth day to the doubled month number. 12 + 28th = 40.
(3) Then you subtract that number from
55. Why 55? Because the smallest number that you can get from
doubling the month and adding the day is 3. January 1st (1/1) is the
first day of the year so it produces the smallest number to be subtracted from
55. (1/1 = 1 + 1 = 2. 2 + 1st = 3). 55 - 3 = 52, the number of
cards in a deck of playing cards. December 31st ( 12/31) = 12 + 12 =
24. 24 + 31st = 55. 55 -
55 = 0. People born on 12/31 are considered to be the Joker Card and
cannot be defined using this system. They are said to be able to
take on the personality of any card.
In our example of June 28th, 55 - 40 = 15.
(4) Then match that
number to the correct playing card. The cards are assigned to
numbers in the following noticeable pattern:

More
about the
Playing Card System
This
is a relatively unknown system but is nevertheless quite powerful in its
predictive accuracy. Playing
cards are one of the most globally recognized symbols in existence.
Virtually every household has a deck. In medieval times, when paper
was widely used for the first time, the original playing cards were developed
as a way of safeguarding an even more ancient system. This system dated
back to ancient Egypt and the Far East, and was in danger of being
destroyed. Therefore the masters at the time "hid" the
information that's concealed in a common deck of cards.
The playing card system is based on Olney H.
Richmond's " Mystic Test Book," originally published in 1893. The elegance of its
mathematical precision is evident in the fact that the data is contained in 52
cards, which corresponds to the number of weeks in a year: 12 royal cards, the
number of months in a year; and the 4 suits, the number of seasons, the four
astrological elements (fire, earth, air and water) as well as the weeks in a
month; if you add the number value of each card in a deck (and include the
Joker as one) it totals 365, the number of days in a year (Jack = 11, Queen =
12 and King = 13).

The
Joker Person: You
have a very serious nature, and the words "lighten up" are not foreign
to you. You take your responsibilities very seriously and can be counted
on to accomplish anything you set out to do. Some people may consider you
mysterious, as you keep your cards close to your vest. When you commit,
especially in love, you take your promises to heart. Your wisdom comes
from personal experience.
